The story started when Fiona established Aprilda Fiona & Partners (AFP) in 2008. Fiona established AFP after gaining extensive legal experience including serving as Managing Partner at Jusuf Indradewa & Partners from 2006 until 2008.

In 2018, Hendronoto brought the idea of transforming AFP into AFHS LawFirm. Hendronoto started his career in 1998 as he worked at PremierOil Natuna Sea Limited, an oil and gas company. In 1999 he moved to Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners, one of the biggest law firms in Jakarta. In HHP, Hendronoto was considered a bright star within the Baker & McKenzie organization. In 2005, he was awarded the Baker & McKenzie International Legal Studies Scholarship and obtained his LL.M Degree at The University of Washington, USA and appointed as one of the firm’s partners in 2011.

Many years back, both Fiona and Hendronoto were among the pioneers of the Asian Law Students Association in Indonesia (ALSA Indonesia). Hendronoto served as the Chairman of the National Committee of ALSA Indonesia from 1994 to 1995, where he significantly contributed to the strong foundation of the association. Then Hendronoto’s vision and effort for the association were carried on by Fiona when she was appointed secretary of the association from 1995 to 1996. Their throughout careers, they often crossed paths and collaborated on various legal cases and matters.
